What is photography?

Photography to me is the seeing and capturing of something which catches the eye! It can be an image which stirs a smile, provokes a response or opens the imagination. Something which gives that ‘feel good’ factor!

I cannot own up to being inspired by anyone or anything - I am inspired by what I see around me, colour, form and what ends up on the photograph. When you start looking it is amazing what you do see!

In this digital age, I do use a digital camera because it allows for lots of photos and it is great to see the results so instantly. I am not a lover of computer manipulated images. All my photographs are original and untampered with!
